Enabling children to step boldly into their future.

OUR WORK
Transforming children's lives since 1993
We give young children the start they deserve by providing safe spaces to learn and grow. With early support, they gain the confidence to shape their futures and uplift their communities. It’s about more than just classrooms – it’s about building a fairer South Africa for all.
What problems are we solving?
Millions of children in South Africa start school without safe classrooms, books, or basic resources – held back before they even begin. In a country marked by deep inequality, a failing education system leaves many behind. Breadline Africa is changing this by providing educational infrastructure – classrooms, libraries, toilets, and kitchens – and supporting early learning initiatives.
